Spook the Lake - 2020 Head Count

EVENT OCTOBER 17, 2020 – From 1-4pm – This is a LAKE-WIDE event!

Spook the Lake is basically trick or treating by boat to lake house docks that have volunteered to give out candy. Many will decorate their docks and we may ask you to vote for your favorite! So, get your kiddos dressed up, in the boat, and find the docks! It’s great fun – Just don’t forget the life vests and be careful.

Here is where you sign up and give us a head count so that we can let our host docks know how much candy to buy.

Just proceed as if you were “buying” something:  Add to cart and finish the checkout process.

We had so much fun being a host dock! We ran out of candy at 3:00 and had to shut down. We still had a line of trick or treaters when we closed. We will know more what to expect for next year! Next year we’ll have 200 bags of candy!

We LOVED spook the lake! Thw only negative was that our boat wasnt large enough to hold everyone we wanted to trick or treat with!

It's hard to imagine the time and effort that went into organizing Spook the Lake - 2020. Hard work pays off as evidenced by the number of docks and boats participating, the smiles on the kids' faces (and adults!), the memories created, and the welcome respite from the reality 2020 has bestowed upon us.     So much fun and everyone was so welcoming. Loved all the great decorations, folks really went all out. Thank you for a great time. I love lake life on beautiful Smith Lake.
